Keystone Therapy accepts referrals from a wide range of professional sources. No GP referral is required for self-funded clients — but referrals from all of the following are welcome and actively supported.
Mental health treatment plans welcome. We work collaboratively with GPs and provide clinical updates where consent is given.
We work alongside psychiatrists as part of integrated care, providing psychological and neurotherapeutic support alongside medication management.
Independent clinical assessment and reporting for legal matters — workers' compensation, personal injury, and Family Court proceedings.
Registered provider of NDIS-funded psychological therapy and assessment. Reports suitable for plan review and access requests.
Experienced in workers' compensation and injury rehabilitation contexts. Reports are structured, clinically rigorous, and delivered within agreed timeframes.
Keystone Therapy provides Employee Assistance Programme services for organisations seeking genuine clinical depth rather than a standard EAP model.

How to Refer
Referring to Keystone Therapy is straightforward. No complex paperwork — just a brief referral note and contact details for your client.
Email or phone us with your client's name, presenting concern, and any relevant background. A referral letter is helpful but not mandatory for most presentations.
We contact your client directly within one business day to arrange an initial appointment. You'll receive confirmation once the appointment is booked.
The initial appointment maps the full clinical picture. For assessment referrals, the assessment process is outlined clearly at this stage including timelines and costs.
With client consent, we provide clinical updates to referring practitioners. Report timeframes are agreed at the point of referral for medico-legal and formal reporting contexts.

Common Questions
Does my client need a Mental Health Treatment Plan to be referred?
No. A Mental Health Treatment Plan is not required for self-funded clients. Where a client has a MHTP, this is welcome and the relevant Medicare item numbers are discussed at the point of booking. Please contact us to confirm current arrangements.
How quickly can you see an urgent referral?
We endeavour to see urgent referrals within the same week where capacity allows. Please phone rather than email for urgent matters — 0403 570 977 — and flag the urgency clearly.
What is your turnaround time for formal reports?
Report turnaround times are agreed at the point of referral and depend on the report type and clinical complexity. Standard reports are typically delivered within 10–15 business days of the final assessment session. Expedited turnaround is available — please discuss at the time of referral.
Do you provide updates to referring GPs and psychiatrists?
Yes — with client consent, we provide clinical updates to referring practitioners at agreed intervals. For ongoing therapy, a brief clinical update following initial assessment and at key treatment milestones is standard practice.
Can you see clients under a workers' compensation insurer directly?
Yes. We accept referrals from case managers and insurers for workers' compensation matters. Please contact us directly to discuss approval processes and reporting requirements for your insurer or scheme.
Do you provide EAP services for organisations?
Yes. Keystone Therapy provides Employee Assistance Programme services for organisations — including individual employee sessions, critical incident response, and aggregate workforce reporting. EAP enquiries should be directed to EAP@keystonetherapy.net.au.
Email us with your client's details and presenting concern. We'll be in touch within one business day.
