I'm Steve — therapist, researcher, and the founder of Keystone Therapy in Perth. I developed the ARCHR²™ framework after years of clinical work, training in neuroscience-informed therapies, and a deep personal conviction that the most effective therapy isn't the most complicated — it's the most honest.
My approach draws on brain-based neuro-therapy, lifestyle mental health research, trauma-informed practice, and evidence-based relational work. I hold specialist experience in anxiety, ADHD and neurodiversity, depression, men's mental health, and couples therapy — including as a qualified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator.
Before establishing Keystone Therapy, I worked across a range of clinical and community settings. That breadth has shaped a practice that is deeply collaborative — I work with you, not at you.
I see clients in person in Perth and via telehealth across Western Australia and nationally. If you're unsure whether therapy is right for you, I offer a free initial consultation so we can explore that together, with no obligation.
Make a BookingDistance shouldn't determine access to quality mental health support. Telehealth at Keystone Therapy is secure, relational, and just as effective as in-person sessions for most presentations.

Get in TouchIf something feels persistently difficult — emotionally, relationally, or mentally — therapy is worth exploring. You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to benefit. A free 15-minute consult with Steve is a good place to start.
Both offer evidence-based therapeutic support. Therapists specialise in working relationally through current life challenges, patterns, and emotional experience. Psychologists are registered with AHPRA and can provide Medicare-rebated services via a GP referral. We're happy to discuss which pathway suits your needs.
For the majority of presentations, yes. Research consistently shows telehealth is comparably effective for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and ADHD support. Some clients prefer it; others prefer in-person. We'll find what works for you.
It depends on what you're working through. Some people find significant relief in 6–12 sessions. Others engage in longer-term work. We review progress regularly and never keep you in therapy longer than is genuinely useful.
Yes. Couples telehealth works well, particularly for couples managing work schedules or distance. We use the PREPARE/ENRICH framework alongside brain-based relational techniques, both in-person and online.
ARCHR²™ is the proprietary therapeutic model developed by Steve at Keystone Therapy. It integrates Awareness, Regulation, Connection, Healing, Resilience, and Rewiring — providing a structured, neuroscience-informed pathway through change. It underpins all services at Keystone Therapy.
Fees are discussed during the initial consultation. We aim to make therapy accessible. While we are not a Medicare provider, we can discuss options and provide referral guidance where appropriate.
